When I think of India and Africa, one of the first images that comes to mind is a big sun glowing with veiled intensity behind the atmospheric haze of dust and smog. When I actually visited those places, my stereotype came through for me on at least a few occasions. Here, in India, the setting was perfect for this shot of two schoolgirls walking hand in hand down the dusty path, silhouetted against a murky golden sky.
